Brunch at Vert Park

Ji was introduced to brunch cafe,Vert Park 베르파크, by our close friend DaeHwan,

and has been anxious to take me since.

Vert Park is tucked away in a neighborhood within Bongson-dong. They have mostly savory options, but plenty of Western items nonetheless.

And an americano is just 2,000₩ when ordered with a meal!

We ordered the 베이직 브런치 (pictured below) for obvious reasons.

This scrambled egg breakfast comes with potato wedges, cheesy eggs, thick-cut bacon, and a small salad. I was a bit apprehensive to try toast covered in powdered sugar ~but oh my god~ it was heavenly. The toast was super thick, super soft and drizzled with honey and sugar. It was reminiscent of a lighter french toast.

We also tried the 샥슈카, which was quite spicy, with smoked sausage and veggies.

It's cooked up in a tomato sauce, covered in cheese of course, and finally, served with lightly toasted baguette slices. Don't worry if you run out of bread before you run out of sauce because they will give you more!
